Elise Emanuelle Dunweber - Chairman

Elise has always been actively involved in politics & The Conservative Party. Elise was Councillor for Oxshott & Stoke D'Abernon for 5 years, she has also spent 3 years on the Parliamentary List and stood as a Candidate in the General Election in 2015. Elise is a Founder Member of EWCWO and is Creative Director of Lifestyle Brand Elskerlife. Elise is also a proud patron of the Conservative Animal Welfare Foundation

Cllr Ruth Mitchell - Treasurer

Ruth Mitchell is our Treasurer and joined the committee of EWCWO soon after its formation . She is a retired banker, is an Elmbridge Borough Councillor for Hersham Village Ward, a Cabinet Member for Resources and Deputy Leader of the Conservative Group on the Borough Council.

Rosemary Vickers - Events Director

Rosemary Vickers is a Founder Member of EWCWO. She was a HR Executive with Shell for 26 years: then a Founder member of the Police Complaints Authority for 7 years. She also served as a Member of the Employment Appeal Tribunal for 10 years.
Rosemary is locally involved as a Member of the Patient /Practice Group of the Cobham Health Centre. She has also served as Mayoress of Elmbridge when her husband James was a Mayor in 2010.

Chris Platt - President

​Chris Platt is a Vice -President of Esher and Walton Conservative Association. Chris has served in nearly all capacities within our association. Whilst as Chairman it was his decision to re-establish the EWCWO and has subsequently fully supported its development into the successful organisation we have today. Chris sits on the Esher and Walton Association’s  Executive Committee as is big supporter of the party locally.
Chris works in international finance and has his own Investment Management business. Nationally, he is also Co-Founder of the two leading animal welfare organisation within the Conservative Party; the Conservative Animal Welfare Foundation and Conservatives Against Fox Hunting both of whom have a number of prominent Members of Parliament as their patrons.

Rt Hon Dominic Raab MP

Dominic has served as Member of Parliament for the Esher & Walton Constituency since being elected in 2010. 
He was appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice in May 2015, was appointed Minister of State for Courts and Justice in 2017 and moved to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government in January 2018.
Dominic served as Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union from July 2018 to November 2018. Dominic resigned as Brexit Secretary on 15th November 2018, in opposition to the Draft Withdrawal Agreement and the outcome of the Brexit negotiations. Since July 2019 Dominic has been serving as First Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs. Dominic gave his full support to establishing the Conservative Women's Organisation for his constituency and continues to play an active part in it's success.
